Kundayi Munzara

For Sesfikile co-founder Kundayi, diversity has always been part of what makes the firm work. In recognising that everyone has their own biases, the best way to keep those in check is to have team members that think differently to you.

"Besides someone who has a real passion for property, there isn’t a typical Sesfikile person. The starting point was that everyone was fairly different, and that has always been how we thought of hiring. We see real value in bringing together people who each have something different, whether that is their background, qualifications or experience."

Evan Jankelowitz

When he co-founded Sesfikile, Evan wanted to create a firm where the team had the flexibility to fully apply its property skillset and the ability to execute its best ideas. He thrives in the fund management environment where he is constantly engaging with interesting people and the market that is always evolving.

“We say we specialise in property, but it doesn’t end there. You need to know what’s happening in economies around the world from Poland to Japan, and to understand different kinds of business models from data centres to factories. It’s always stimulating on a day-to-day basis.”

Naeem joined Sesfikile in 2017, where he is passionate about working in an environment where ideas are always challenged and tested. He believes that listed property offers unique qualities that have benefits for every portfolio.
